Peter Swanson Presents on Maritime Law Topics

As a member of the Chamber of Shipping of British Columbia’s “Business of Shipping” presentation team, Bernard LLP partner Peter Swanson was in action in Calgary on October 21 at the invitation of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP).
Peter along with Stephen Pyne, Christian Waldegrave, Paul Hexter, Daryl Raibl, Kevin Obermeyer and Stephen Brown provided eight hours of introduction to the world of shipping to a group of about 50 representatives from across the oil industry. Peter’s presentation was focused on civil and regulatory liability in respect of ship source pollution and a general overview of marine insurance.
