Alexandra King Associate

Alexandra is an associate in Bernard’s Business Law group. She assists clients with a variety of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate governance, and commercial leases. As a junior associate, Alexandra also assists senior solicitors at the firm on large and complex transactions.

Prior to joining Bernard in 2023, Alexandra completed her articles and a summer student internship in the Vancouver office of a large global law firm.

Alexandra obtained her Certificate of Qualification in Law from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada after attaining her LLB (Hons) Senior Status degree from the University of York in the United Kingdom, where she finished top of her class. At law school, she was an avid participant in the University’s Negotiation Society, providing negotiation seminars to fellow members and participating in and winning several inter-university competitions.

Before attending law school, Alexandra worked for over a decade in the sailing industry, specifically in program management and coaching and education. During this time, she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Simon Fraser University.

When Alexandra isn’t in the office, she enjoys sailboat racing, cruising, skiing, mountain biking, and road cycling.
