Wana Wafa Associate
Wana articled with Bernard LLP and joined the firm as an Associate in September 2023. She practices primarily as a civil litigator working with senior lawyers on all manner of legal problems. Wana was previously a paralegal with Bernard LLP and brings a great deal of procedural experience to the practice of law.
Wana obtained her Certificate of Qualification in Law from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada after attaining her LLB Senior Status degree from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom where she finished with a first class standing. She then obtained an LLM in common law from the University of British Columbia. At the University of Leicester, Wana was part of the Canadian Law Society and Project Insight, a pro bono organization that educates kids about the practice of law.
Wana speaks Dari and German.
