Julie Gaydar Associate

Julie joined Bernard LLP in 2024 as an associate in the business law group focussing on corporate and commercial, construction and maritime law.

Julie obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia in 2018 and brings a wealth of experience to the firm.  Before joining Bernard LLP, she acted as in-house counsel for a prominent Vancouver real estate developer primarily advising on matters and disputes concerning commercial leases and the construction of mixed-use developments. She began her legal career as an articling student and later an associate at the Vancouver office of a regional law firm where she maintained a broad litigation practice, including disputes involving contract and commercial matters, real and personal property, and construction, among others.

Julie’s combination of litigation and in-house commercial experience equips her with a keen eye for identifying and mitigating risks and provides her with a practical perspective on all related legal matters.
