Buck Hughes Associate

Buck practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, insurance defence, environmental law and employment law. His experience includes conduct of criminal trials as a former crown prosecutor and representing clients in civil matters, including commercial disputes, construction disputes, contaminated sites litigation, and wrongful dismissal claims. He has experience with the trial process as well as the use of mediation to resolve disputes out-of-court.

He has appeared before the B.C. Provincial Court and represented clients before the Environmental Appeal Board. He has acted for business owners, insurance companies, commercial landlords, strata corporations, developers, construction managers, and employers and employees. Buck has also appeared before the BC Supreme Court.

Buck practices in British Columbia and has represented clients before the former Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta.
