Recent Appointments

We are pleased to announce that Bernard LLP lawyers Paul D. Mooney and David S. Jarrett have been appointed as the Vice-Chair and the Treasurer, respectively, of the Canadian Bar Association’s Maritime Law Section (BC Branch) for two year terms. Mr. Mooney was previously the Secretary of the Subsection.
Both Mr. Mooney and Mr. Jarrett practice in the field of maritime law assisting local and foreign vessel owners, charterers and their insurers. They regularly handle cases involving the enforcement of maritime liens, debt collection, vessel arrest and security, carriage of cargo, collision, and bodily injury.
