Our New Solicitor
The partners of Bernard LLP are delighted to announce that Alexandra King has recently joined the Firm. Alexandra will practice as a member of our corporate and commercial team, focusing her efforts on corporate finance, private mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and governance and a variety of commercial and maritime contracts. She will also provide assistance to clients on their acquisition, construction, financing or disposition of vessels, including advice on importation duties and taxes, marine mortgages and Canada Shipping Act, 2001 registration requirements. Alexandra was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2023, having articled at an international firm with offices in Vancouver. Alexandra has extensive experience in the local sailing community as a program manager and coach, which, no doubt, will be of great assistance in her maritime practice.
