Jaden T. Lau Associate
Jaden practices at Bernard LLP in the firm’s business law group having recently completed his articles at the firm.
Jaden works on a range of corporate and commercial matters including corporate financing and lending, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, commercial leases, licenses and moorage agreements, pleasure craft vessel transactions and registrations, real estate transactions and compliance.
Jaden obtained his juris doctor degree from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. He is also a University of British Columbia alumnus where he graduated from the Bachelor of Arts program (Dean’s List) with a focus on Law and Society. At law school, Jaden completed the Corporate Counsel Externship Program, acted as a vice-president for the Asia Pacific Law Club, sat as a student board member of the Centre for Business Law, and worked as a research assistant for the UBC Sauder Distinguished Scholar. Jaden was awarded the Alf M. Edwardson prize for real estate transactions and was awarded 2nd place in a negotiations competition by the Vancouver office of a large international law firm.

When he is not in the office, Jaden enjoys exploring cult classic and modern cinema, keeping up with the latest trends in the electronic entertainment industry, and taking photos of his adventures with friends and family.
